Welcome to Yale Model United Nations South Asia!
My name is Kyle Guo, and it is my pleasure to serve as the Secretary-General for YMUN South Asia, held this year in a fully virtual format. Following the great success of Yale MUN India in 2024, we are thrilled to return with a renewed vision - one that expands our reach across the South Asian region, bringing together a broader array of voices, perspectives, and ideas. Our goal is to create a unique and memorable experience within the South Asian MUN circuit, fostering meaningful dialogue, leadership development, and diplomatic collaboration for the next generation of global changemakers.

To realize this vision, we have meticulously designed an experience that sets YMUN South Asia apart from traditional Model UN conferences. Our committees will be led by highly knowledgeable and dedicated chairs, committed to cultivating an intellectually rigorous, inclusive, and engaging environment. In preparation for debate, delegates will have access to comprehensive topic guides, extensive resources on parliamentary procedure, and tailored training materials to ensure every participant is equipped to excel—no matter their level of experience.

Beyond committee sessions, YMUN South Asia aims to offer a holistic and enriching experience that extends far beyond competition. Through a range of virtual initiatives and programming, we hope to create an environment where delegates sharpen their diplomatic and analytical skills, build meaningful connections, and broaden their global outlook from wherever they are in the world.
